These were actually really cute books. Similar to a few other series American Girl has collaborated with or written, they all intertwine together, which is a neat feature. All of the stories are educational about animals as well, which is amazing. However, I would’ve loved if they had the characters experience other things besides just taking care of animals. A few of the girls have other hobbies and interests, but they pretty much all take a backseat to animal care. All of that being said, I would recommend these to any person who wants fun, short reads. Just be warned: if a little kid reads these books, they’ll probably end up wanting a pet of their own!
