Grace Thomas is an enterprising girl from the fictional town of Bentwick, Massachusetts, who loves to bake and dreams of starting her own business. After spending a summer in Paris, where her grandparents run a patisserie, she comes home inspired to bring a taste of French baking to her friends. Together with her friends, Maddy and Ella, Grace launches a baking venture called La Petite Patisserie, learning about teamwork, entrepreneurship, and seeing a big idea through. Along the way she gains a French bulldog named Bonbon.
American Girl released a feature film, Grace Stirs Up Success, in 2015.
