Girls of Many Lands
The Girls of Many Lands line contained eight historical characters that corresponded with 9" display dolls. These dolls weren’t designed to be undressed, and didn’t have other outfits to change the dolls into. Each character had one chapter book associated with them that told their story. In addition, the eight characters didn’t live in America, and instead were located around the globe.
The line was available from 2002 to 2005, and was aimed towards an older demographic with a suggested minimal age of ten years old. The books were longer and more complex than other American Girl historical books, and didn’t contain any internal illustrations or images.
